Job summary

Friendship Community Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the Archway Apartments team in Russellville, AR. The role works weekend shifts, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, delivering person-centered services in home and community settings.

You will assist clients with daily living tasks, transportation, and documentation, while ensuring safety and adherence to care plans and HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arkansas driver's license required.
• Two+ years' experience with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks (e.g., showers, dressing, housekeeping, meals, budgeting).
• Provide transportation to activities/appointments; valid AR driver's license required.
• Maintain documentation (behavioral/incident reports, forms, logs) by end of shift.
• Follow medication management guidelines and monitor procedures.
• Support client’s Plan of Care to ensure health, safety, and security.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain professional appearance; represent FCC positively.

Education
