RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional for weekend shifts (Part time 4pm-12am) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs. You will implement tailored services, assist with daily living, and accompany clients to social activities in the community.

The role emphasizes advocacy, safe transportation, and respectful communication, with required CPR, a valid driver’s license, and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work.
• Pre-employment screening including background checks and credential verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying and communicating needs for services and support.
• Promote wellness practices and educate on safety measures.
• Encourage self-advocacy and informed personal choices aligned with goals.
• Accompany individuals to community activities to foster social engagement.
• Help develop independent living skills and daily self-sufficiency.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities as needed.
• Support living arrangements, employment, and social relationships respecting preferences.
