Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time Saturday shift from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

You will provide personalized support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them engage in the community and achieve personal goals. Under supervision, you will promote independence, assist with daily living tasks, accompany to work and community activities, support medication administration per state laws, and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and wellbeing.
• Promote health and safety; support wellness initiatives.
• Encourage self-advocacy and independence.
• Facilitate community engagement by accompanying individuals to work, recreation and social events.
• Teach and support independent living skills and daily living activities.
• Provide transportation for appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and support.
