Duties include operating station machinery, site upkeep, and assisting customers with unloading trash. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with 1 year of heavy equipment operation preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Ability to work in a team environment; safety-focused and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains station machinery such as compactors.
• Sweeps floors, cleans and picks up around stations and facilities; moves grass in season and clears snow/ice.
• Keeps simple records on vehicles, containers loaded, and equipment performance.
• Maintains a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Assists customers with unloading their trash.
• Inspects loads for unacceptable materials to ensure safety.
• Pulls recyclable material to the MRF for proper processing.
• Loads trash into semi-trailers using heavy equipment.
• Participates in training and other duties to support the company and values.
