Casella Waste Systems, Inc is seeking a Depot Attendant to assist at the Recycling/Transfer station. The role involves general labor, yard clean-up, fueling equipment, and basic office tasks. Applicants should be able to work Saturdays and travel to nearby Casella sites with reimbursement for travel.

This is a part-time non-benefited position with an starting hourly range of $17–$19 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work

• Operates and maintains station machinery (e.g., compactors).
• Sweeps, cleans, mows, moves snow, and maintains facility areas.
• Keeps basic records of vehicles, containers, and equipment usage.
• Maintains a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Assists customers with unloading trash.
• Inspects loads for safety and compliance.
• Separates recyclables and directs to appropriate facilities.
• Loads trash using heavy equipment into semi-trailers.
• Participates in training and other company initiatives.
