Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the face of our service, assisting customers and managing rentals with U-Scan technology. You will inspect and prepare equipment, move trucks and trailers, and provide educational support on products and services.

This part-time role requires weekend work and offers on-the-job training, safety instruction, and opportunities to advance within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work weekends and part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill.
• Operate a forklift (certifications offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
