Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO seeks a CT Technologist to maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging. The role supports patient safety, education, and collaboration with care teams within a 36-hour schedule.

Level I/II qualified candidates with ARRT CT and BLS, plus state licensure, are encouraged to apply. The position features a weekend differential of $5/hour for Saturdays and Sundays and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required/Preferred ARRT CT
• BLS certification within 60 days, required
• Licensure in state of practice upon hire, required
• IV competency within 90 days, required
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for CO caregivers

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy, ensure structures are captured
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safe environment
• Complete studies within time limitations and maintain patient care quality
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort; address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated on CT tech advancements through continuing education
• Instruct students and radiology staff on protocols and equipment
