Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) in CT is required at hire.
• BLS within 60 days is required.
• Colorado state context may require fluoroscopy certs; refer to facility policies.
• 1-2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred for Level I.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exams.
• Perform CT exams per protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain radiation safety and a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care providers.
• Stay updated on CT technology and protocols.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols.
