Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO, seeks a CT Technologist to maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging. This role is part of a weekend program with a $5/hour differential for Saturdays and Sundays, and requires licensure, BLS, and IV competency within specified timelines.

36 scheduled hours per week, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT competency required at hire.
• BLS within 60 days required.
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, at hire.
• IV competency within 90 days, required.
• 3+ years CT experience preferred for Level II.
• Cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety knowledge.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado postings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification; prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure required anatomy is captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; ensure patient comfort.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
