Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a CT Technologist for a 36-hour weekly role, performing exams, maintaining ARRT competency, and ensuring patient safety and care. This position is part of our Weekend Program with a $5.00/hour differential on Saturdays and Sundays.

Level I or II qualifications include ARRT CT certification, BLS, state licensure, IV competency, and experience; the department offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required; BLS within 60 days.
• Current ARRT CT registration; state licensure as applicable.
• IV competency within 90 days; fluoroscopy cert preferred in CO.
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency and operate CT equipment per protocol.
• Ensure patient identification, verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; coordinate care with team.
• Stay current with CT updates and participate in continued education.
• Instruct students and other technologists on protocols and equipment.
