Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. The role demands ARRT (R) and CT credentials, BLS certification, state licensure, IV competency, and 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting. Weekend differential applies.

You will maintain imaging quality, ensure patient safety, and support education of students and staff while delivering compassionate care in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred
• BLS within 60 days, Required
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required
• IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
• Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred (Colorado)
• 1-2 years CT Experience in a hospital setting, Preferred
• Current ARRT (R) (CT) registration for Level II

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare the patient for the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits per department expectations.
• Provide appropriate patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to team members.
• Stay updated with advances in CT technology through continuing education.
• Instruct students and radiology staff in exam protocols and positioning
