Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois seeks a CT Technologist to perform acquisition, processing, and archiving of CT images under indirect supervision. You will ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with radiologists.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of AMA, JRC or Regionally Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered or registry-eligible; CT registry required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, process, submit for interpretation and archive CT images.
• Care for patients during CT procedures and explain the process.
• Position patients and select techniques per CT protocol.
• Review requests for appropriateness and document in RIS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other staff; mentor junior personnel.
• Maintain regulatory-compliant records and ensure accurate charges.
