Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification; CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Refer s and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
• Assist patients with procedure explanations and proper identification using two patient identifiers.
• Prepare patients for procedures with explanations and document appropriately.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique; report equipment malfunctions.
