Navicent Health Medical Center in Macon, GA seeks a CT Technologist to acquire, process, and archive CT images under indirect supervision. You will ensure patient care, assist radiologists, and maintain records according to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include image quality control, patient positioning, and collaboration with clinicians. Weekend schedule is Fri–Sun with a differential; benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
• Graduate of AMA, JRC or Regionally Accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification/License/Registration: ARRT Registered or Registry eligible through the ARRT.
• ARRT CT registry required in accordance with Work Instruction EMP 8.

Responsabilidades

• Acquire, process, and archive CT images.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain clinical history, and ensure patient understanding.
• Position patients and apply CT techniques per departmental policy and CT protocols.
• Judge diagnostic quality of images prior to radiologist interpretation.
• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and document in RIS/system.
