Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Cook for our Mesa, Arizona senior living community to prepare meals for residents and staff, following recipes, safety procedures, and quality standards. You will ensure timely, friendly service and maintain high sanitation and presentation.

Requirements include at least one year of cooking experience (including some short-order duties) and Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain it. Weekend availability (Fri–Sun, 6 AM–6 PM) is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (including short order cooking).
• Knowledge of quantity cooking and recipe following.
• Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow recipes to ensure consistency of product.
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned.
• Maintain sanitation, safety procedures, and high-quality presentation.
• Order, receive, and rotate stock with the Food Service Director.
