Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Cook for our senior living community in Phoenix, AZ. You will prepare meals, read and follow recipes, and support dining services to meet resident expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience, including short order cooking.
• Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to read and follow recipes to ensure consistent presentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff.
• Maintains sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation.
• Orders, receives, and rotates stock with the Food Service Director.
• Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product.
• Prepares and serves meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
• Follows all food safety and equipment safety procedures.
