Pennant Group is seeking a Cook for our senior living community to provide timely, friendly service to residents and staff. You will read and follow recipes, prepare meals, and ensure sanitation and high quality presentation.

This role involves ordering, receiving, and rotating stock in collaboration with the Food Service Director. The position runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 AM to 6 PM, and requires a year of cooking experience with short order capabilities and Serv-Safe certification

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience, including short order cooking.
• Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

About the Opportunity

Ensures efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff. Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation. Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director. Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product. Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned. Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations. Is knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation. Other relevant duties may be required or assigned by Supervisor.

This position will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 AM to 6 PM.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of cooking experience (some short order cooking) and quantity cooking.
• Must possess Serv-Safe certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.
