Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Weekend Cook to work Saturdays and Sundays in our scratch-based kitchen. You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensure dishes are safely cooked, visually appealing, and portioned to resident preferences.

You’ll build positive relationships with residents and teammates, contribute during service hours, and help maintain a clean, well‑stocked kitchen. This role emphasizes warmth and guest satisfaction on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Weekend availability: Saturdays and Sundays, at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to read, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking (preferred).
• Ability to secure food handler permits within two weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes by cooking a wide variety of proteins and vegetables.
• Ensure every plate is visually appealing and served safely.
• Support opening and closing tasks and assist teammates to keep a clean kitchen.
• Keep stations stocked and organized, monitor refrigeration and pantry items.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen practices and record temperatures as required.
