Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a weekend cook to prepare meals for residents in our senior living communities. You will cook to order and assist in scratch production while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

Weekend schedule Sunday/Monday mornings and Tuesday/Friday/Saturday nights is required; no telework. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required, with a preferred high school diploma or GED. All applicants will be treated fairly under EEO guidelines.

Qualifications

• Any related experience or training is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.
• Cook to order breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Assist in the scratch production of all menu items.
• Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.
• Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.
