Job summary

Lathrop Community in Easthampton, MA is seeking a part-time Concierge / Security associate for weekend day shifts. You will greet residents, answer calls, monitor entrances, and respond to alarms as a member of our resident services team.

This role emphasizes safety, courtesy, and reliable coordination during emergencies. The position is non-exempt, 16 hours per week, with two 8am-4pm weekend shifts and potential coverage for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Two weekend shifts, 8am–4pm, with possible 4pm–12am or 12am–8am coverage.
• Part-time non-exempt hourly position, 16 hours per week.
• Strong organizational and communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and respond to safety alerts and fire alarms.
• Greet and direct residents and visitors at the main entrance.
• Answer and direct incoming calls; manage guest registration.
• Conduct regular internal security sweeps of the building.
• Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response.
• Support administrative tasks and clerical duties as requested.
