Job summary

Lathrop Community seeks a Concierge / Security part-time for weekend day shifts at our Easthampton, MA campus. This on-site role supports resident services, handles alarms, greets guests, routes calls, and assists with clerical tasks in a calm, professional manner.

The position offers two 8am-4pm weekend shifts, potential 4pm-12am or 12am-8am coverage, 403B retirement participation, and Massachusetts sick time. Compensation is $18–$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Frontline receptionist/concierge with strong organizational skills.
• Professional, courteous demeanor and ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to monitor alarms and assist in security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and respond to alerts and fire alarms.
• Greet and direct residents and visitors.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Monitor the main entrance and register guests.
• Conduct internal security sweeps of the building.
• Assist with evacuation procedures as needed.
• Support administrative tasks and clerical duties.
• Assist residents and staff with clerical needs.
