Job summary

FirstService Residential in New York is seeking a Concierge to work independently with strong customer service and communication skills. You will meet and greet residents, check guests and service providers, monitor security systems, and maintain daily logs.

This full-time role requires the ability to respond to emergencies, multitask, and follow safety procedures. Sundays 8am-6pm; compensation $20–$21 hourly; comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; college coursework in business or hospitality preferred.
• Two to three years of business experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors Emergency Response System.
• Greet and direct Residents, guests, and invitees.
• Monitors and controls Electronic Security Control Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Maintains daily log, records, and forms.
• Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site property manager.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
