Job summary

SEEC is a progressive nonprofit serving people with developmental disabilities in Maryland. We seek a Community Connector for Saturday–Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, in Rockville/Silver Spring. This part-time role supports individuals in the community, coordinating health, safety, and participation in activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, a willingness to learn technology, and strong teamwork. Candidates should be able to lift 60–80 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in supporting people to achieve personal goals or comparable community-engagement skills.
• Willingness to learn and use technology (phones, apps, laptops, etc.).
• Strong teamwork and professional conduct.
• Ability to lift 60–80 lbs.
• Knowledge of surrounding counties.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Communicate status and participate in person and team caseloads.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Support community engagement and access to resources and transportation.
• Administer medications as delegated and accompany to appointments.
• Coordinate household tasks, purchases, and receipts; monitor maintenance.
• Attend meetings and complete mandatory documentation.
