Job summary

SEEC is seeking a Community Connector for Saturday–Sunday shifts in Silver Spring, MD. You will provide personal and community-based support within Supported Living, coordinating health, safety, and participation activities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The role emphasizes person-centered planning, teamwork, and documentation. A High School Diploma is preferred, with willingness to work 60–80 lb lifts and use various technologies and case management tools to support people in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience helping people reach personal goals and engage with the community.
• Strong analytical skills and professional approach to development.
• Willingness to use technology (phones, apps, laptops, case management database).

Responsibilities

• Communicate status and actively participate in person and on caseload.
• Demonstrate respect and acceptance of persons.
• Proactively implement systems to ensure quality services for health, safety, and community participation.
• Provide personal care including eating, grooming, bathroom, transfers, and routines.
• Track, book, and accompany to medical appointments with documented records.
• Review and approve household purchases and manage receipts.
• Attend meetings and trainings and complete required documentation.
