Job summary

SEEC is a progressive nonprofit in Maryland seeking a Community Connector for the Supported Living program based in Rockville. The part-time position supports individuals in the community with health, safety, and participation in everyday activities.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, coordination with the Supported Living team, and assisting clients with access to transportation and community resources. A High School Diploma and willingness to learn technology are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred for this role.
• Experience supporting people to achieve personal goals or engage with the community.
• Strong analytical skills and professional approach to personal development.
• Ability to lift 60–80 lbs and be physically able to perform the tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate status and participate in person and caseloads.
• Provide personal care including eating, bathroom, bathing, transferring, hygiene.
• Research and communicate community resources and transportation options.
• Administer medications as delegated and accompany to medical appointments.
