Job summary

OPW, a global leader in fluid-handling solutions, seeks weekend-shift machine operators to run CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and perform in-process gauging and quality checks. The role requires familiarity with a range of CNC machines and gauges, safe operation, and consistent attention to detail.

You will read blueprints, set up and operate CNC equipment, perform basic maintenance, and participate in continuous learning in a production‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running CNC machines and reading blueprints.
• Proficient in using gauges and calipers to inspect parts.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret measurements.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• 3–5+ years' experience running CNC machines (Tornos, Mori-Seiki, New Britain, Mazak, Citizen, Kingsbury, Riello, Hydromat, Doosan, Daewoo, Bridgeport, Frontier).
• Inspect with Go/No-Go gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges and concentricity gauges.
• Load bars into bar feeders contingent upon part.
• Ensure coolant lines are properly set and flowing.
• Demonstrate safe manual deburring techniques.
• Understand tool layouts.
• Demonstrate manufacturing problem solving and escalation.
• Follow safety procedures.
