Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation company, seeks first shift machine operators to run CNC mills and lathes for valve and regulator parts. You will read blueprints, set up manual and CNC machines, and perform quality checks using gauging equipment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of CNC experience, can lift up to 45 pounds, and commit to safe, detail-oriented work. The role follows a Mon-Thu 5:00 am–3:00 pm schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and setup CNC mills/lathe machines.
• Experience operating CNC machines (various brands) is required.
• Ability to perform quality checks and use gauging equipment.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and operate CNC machines (multiple brands).
• Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Load bars into bar feeders as required.
• Ensure coolant lines are properly set and flowing.
• Perform safe manual deburring techniques.
• Understand tool layouts and setups.
• Demonstrate problem solving and escalation in manufacturing.
• Follow all safety procedures in a production environment.
