Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, AR is seeking a Machinist Technician for the AWW shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM). This FAA-regulated, climate-controlled facility offers an 8% shift differential and training on 1st shift.

You will set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machines, read blueprints and specs, and use micrometers and calipers to verify part accuracy in a clean, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine machining and setup requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machines to fabricate/repair parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine setup requirements.
• Set up fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.
• Maintain machine and setup documents.
• Use micrometers/calipers to verify specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
