Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, starts and stops CNC lathe machines.
• Sets feeds and speeds to match machining process requirements.
• Monitors gauges and indicators to ensure quality pieces.
• Detects dull tools and excessive vibration during runs.
• Measures finished parts to spec using precise instruments.
• Calculates machine movements from drawings and specs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
