• Load, unload, start, and stop machines.
• Monitor feeds and speeds during machining process.
• Ensure work-pieces meet quality standards.

Skills

Knowledge of machine tools

Ability to adjust controls

Ability to control operations of machining equipment

Ability to detect machine errors

Basic mathematics knowledge

Knowledge of G codes and M codes

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
