Viper Northwest, Inc. is seeking a CNC Horizontal Mill Mazak Machinist for weekend shifts in Albany, Oregon. Must have horizontal mill experience; 10% shift differential applies. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a salary range of $30.00 to $36.00 per hour.

The candidate will machine parts to tolerance, set up mills and lathes, and maintain safety and quality standards. Strong GD&T, tooling selection, and programming familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related technical education preferred.
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming is a plus and highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to tolerances using CNC horizontal mills and other CNC equipment.
• Set up mills and lathes including chucks, vises, tools, and offsets.
• Maintain safe operations and adhere to maintenance and quality procedures.
• Interpret GD&T, select tools, and optimize machining parameters.
• Verify part quality and troubleshoot issues; log and report defects.
• Support department supervisors with task execution and process improvements.
