Viper Northwest is seeking CNC Mill Machinists for its Albany, Oregon facility. You will read drawings, set up vertical mills (Haas/Brother), and run parts to tight tolerances.

The position emphasizes precise measuring, offset adjustments, and maintaining quality across multiple machines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands drawings.
• Starts and observes machine operation.
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors.
• Process offsets changes unassisted.
• Checks parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Verifies conformance of completed work.
• Works on Vertical Mills, Haas and Brother Machines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy.
• Set up machines and begin running first parts.
• Adjust programs and tooling as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Measure and verify parts with precision instruments.
• Maintain quality and on-time delivery.
• Operate multiple machines on the shop floor.
