Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents on weekends in San Antonio, TX. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to care plans, and compassionate resident interaction.

The position requires a valid CNA license, CPR preferred, and solid communication skills to coordinate with nurses and other staff to maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents in our care.

Qualifications

• Must possess license as Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband or photo ID before care or treatments.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report any changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as directed by the care plan.
• Keep resident rooms clean, safe, and comfortable; greet and escort residents as needed.
• Observe and report skin integrity issues and any injuries; document as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosure concerns.
