Job summary

aah in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support the Med/Surg 2 team. Weekend program 1500-0300, every Saturday and Sunday, with limited weekend time off and holiday requirements.

You will assist with daily patient care, measurements, documentation in the EMR, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharges. The role requires BLS and Nurse Aide licensure in good standing, basic computer skills, and strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Document vital signs, intake/output and daily weights in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Collect urine, stool and sputum specimens and perform point‑of‑care testing as indicated.
• Assist with stocking, transporting, and maintaining nursing area and equipment.
• Positioning and transferring patients safely and assisting with nutritional needs.
• Maintain skin integrity and use TED hose and sequential compression devices as required.
• May remove IVs or assist with post‑mortem care and bladder scans per site needs.
• Adhere to infection prevention policies and ensure patient safety.
• Respect age-specific care requirements and document appropriately.
