Job summary

Action Health Staffing in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to clients in their residences. You will perform direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support families in implementing the plan of care.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and timely reporting of changes in condition. You will work within an EVV framework, follow safety protocols, and adapt to each client's routines and dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Sympathetic attitude toward the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision.
• Prepare meals per client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities per client needs.
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate records per agency requirements.
• Record and report changes in client condition.
• Follow Plan of Care and EVV tasks.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Promote client independence within abilities.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
• Do not administer medications.
