Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care on an every-other-weekend schedule in North Carolina. The role focuses on direct patient care in the client’s residence, with responsibilities for personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks under supervision.

You will collaborate with nurses and therapists, plan meals per dietary needs, offer companionship, document changes in condition, and ensure accurate EVV time reporting while

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with valid credentials (CNA).
• CNA certification and DFS-related credentials required.
• Strong reading, writing and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering dietary preferences.
• Provide companionship and light housekeeping.
• Maintain records and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow Plan of Care and EVV procedures.
• Never administer medications.
