Job summary

Action Health Staffing seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver in-home care to clients in North Carolina. The role focuses on assisting patients in their residence, following a defined Plan of Care, and recording EVV time for tasks.

As a CNA, you will perform personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with supervisors and families.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS or state equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication, reading, writing and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the patient’s home as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene, meals, and daily living activities.
• Support transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing tasks under supervision of RNs/PT/OT.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and prescribed diets.
• Offer companionship and engagement activities.
• Perform light housekeeping as directed.
• Maintain accurate records and document changes in condition.
• Complete tasks as outlined in the EVV system and time sheets.
• Ensure punctual, dependable service and adherence to Plan of Care.
