Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home care services to clients in their residences, delivering compassionate personal care and support with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, hygiene assistance, transfers, basic nursing tasks, meal prep, light housekeeping, monitoring health changes, and accurate EVV time entry. Follow the Plan of Care and never administer medications.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bath and grooming.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to each client.
• Light housekeeping as assigned.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete EVV time entries as required.
• Follow Plan of Care and never administer medications.
