Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care in North Carolina, serving clients in their residences. Excellent pay and great benefits accompany this role with weekend coverage on a rotating schedule.

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor health status, and document changes per plan of care while maintaining safety and dignity for clients.

Qualifikationen

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bathing, shaving, grooming).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervisor.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Work as a team to ensure high quality health care.
• Maintain complete and accurate records as required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client condition.
• Complete tasks per EVV app or timesheet when needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctuality.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting independence within client abilities.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
• Always follow the Plan of Care — Never administer medications.
