Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Pharmacy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time pharmacist for the 2nd shift (12:30–21:00), 8 hours per week, with every 4th weekend. Requires state licensure and immunization certification; ACPE-accredited PharmD or NABP FPGEC is preferred.

Responsibilities include overseeing pharmaceutical care, counseling patients, reviewing orders, and collaborating with the care team to ensure formulary adherence and safety. Mentors and trains learners as assigned.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification as required.
• ACPE-accredited PharmD or NABP FPGEC certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including literature review and regimen design.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medication therapy, adherence, and safety.
• Reviews medication orders and participates in emergencies when needed.
• Ensures policy compliance and safe medication handling.
• Mentors students and coordinates with the pharmacy team.
