Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, evidence-based medication therapy. This weekend-only role supports Friday to Sunday, three 12-hour shifts, and functions as a key drug information resource for staff and patients.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months, plus comprehensive Mercy benefits. Required BS or PharmD and active Missouri pharmacist license, with Epic and other pharmacy

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of practice (Missouri).
• Experience with hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders and patient records to ensure appropriateness of therapy.
• Monitor drug therapies and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and patients on therapy decisions.
