Job summary

Roseville VFW Post 7555 II is looking for a dedicated Cook/Chef to join our team every Saturday. As a key member, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and maintaining kitchen standards in a busy yet supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has a passion for cooking, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. A ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification is required for this role. Additionally, there are opportunities to pick up more shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification is required.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques or willingness to learn.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment.
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary.
• Follow all food safety regulations.
