Job summary

Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is hiring a weekend Cook/Chef to join our on-site culinary team in Delano, MN. The role offers weekend shifts (every other weekend) with hourly pay between $17.50 and $22.50, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals per planned menus and diet requirements, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting residents with a warm, professional service. Prior senior living experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must relate professionally with residents, residents’ families, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and floors.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed.
