Job summary

Legacy of St Michael Senior Living is seeking a skilled Chef/Cook to join our team in St. Michael, MN. You will prepare meals according to resident diets, recipes, and menus while maintaining high sanitation standards.

This full-time role operates on a 6:30am-2:30pm shift with every-other-weekend rotation. Wage range is $17.50–$22.50 per hour, and benefits include paid time off, 401k, and tuition assistance opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to relate professionally with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per planned menus, diets, recipes and portions.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and dishes.
• Check trays for menu/diet accuracy and preferences.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review diet changes and maintain/ follow menus accordingly.
