Job summary

Summit Malibu is seeking a reliable and experienced Weekend Chef to prepare fresh, healthy meals for our clients and staff at our residential treatment facility in Malibu.

This on-site weekend role covers lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays, with hours negotiable based on service needs and client schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cooking or private chef experience preferred.
• On-site weekend position in Malibu facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lunch and dinner for approximately 5-10 clients and staff.
• Create fresh, balanced, flavorful meals with thoughtful presentation.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and nutritional needs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures.
• Assist with meal planning and communicate grocery/ingredient needs.
• Work independently and reliably in a residential environment.

This is an on-site weekend position serving a small group of approximately 5-10 people. The chef will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays; specific hours are negotiable and can be discussed based on meal service needs.

Previous professional cooking and/or private chef experience is preferred.
