Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a Weekend 2nd Shift team (Thursday-Sunday, 2:30pm-1:00am). You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, carrier procurement and operations to ensure carrier performance and KPI results.

The role requires at least 2 years of transportation-related experience, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and experience in non-asset-based brokerage. You’ll coach and develop a team, manage freight, and drive efficient, reliable service.

Qualifications

• 2 years of transportation-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience.
• Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills with the ability to supervise, coach and influence employees.

Responsibilities

• Handle the daily operations of the team
• Develop and expand carrier relationships with both existing and new carriers
• Train, mentor and develop a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives
• Book freight and maintain KPI metrics while ensuring your direct reports do the same
