Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a Weekend 2nd Shift team (Thursday-Sunday, 2:30pm-1:00am). You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, carrier procurement and operations to ensure carrier performance and KPI results.

The role requires at least 2 years of transportation-related experience, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and experience in non-asset-based brokerage. You’ll coach and develop a team, manage freight, and drive efficient, reliable service.

Weekend 2nd Shift, Thursday - Sunday, 2:30pm - 1:00am

As the Operations Supervisor, you will work cross-functionally with various departments, including sales, carrier procurement and operations, carrier compliance, finance and accounts payable. You’ll handle a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives and ensure that everyone is consistently delivering positive results. What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of transportation-related experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience
• Solid experience in management, including prioritizing work and performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Solid conflict resolution skills
• Proven leadership and creative thinking skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
