Job summary

Trove Home Care LLC. is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to serve clients in the Midlothian area, Virginia. This role offers weekend hours with the potential for stable, recurring shifts and 24/7 support from a dedicated care team.

You’ll perform companion and daily living tasks, plus personal care activities as needed, in clients’ homes. A CNA/PCA/HHA certification is preferred, with at least 6 months of caregiving experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• A valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• The ability to follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and commitment to scheduled weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Companion & Daily Living Support: transportation to appointments and errands; medication reminders; meal preparation; companionship; light housekeeping.
• Personal Care: dressing, grooming, bathing, mobility assistance, transfers, and toileting support.

What You’ll Do

As a caregiver with Trove Home Care, you’ll provide compassionate, dependable support that helps our clients feel safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Every client is different, and your responsibilities will depend on your experience, training, and certifications.

Companion & Daily Living Support

You may help clients with:

• Transportation to appointments and errands


• Medication reminders


• Meal preparation and assistance with cooking


• Companionship and meaningful conversation


• Support that helps clients stay comfortable and independent at home


• Light housekeeping

Personal Care

Caregivers with the appropriate certifications, such as CNA, PCA, or HHA, may also provide hands-on assistance with:

• Dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene


• Feeding


• Mobility and ambulation


• Bathing


• Transfers between beds and chairs


• Toileting and incontinence care

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for caregivers who are dependable, compassionate, and genuinely care about the people they serve.

Our ideal caregiver has:

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred


• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
