Job summary

Trove Home Care is seeking caregivers to join a reliable Weekend Care Team in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. This role offers consistent weekend hours, meaningful work, and a supportive environment.

Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience, plus a $100 weekend bonus after completing 50 weekend hours. A 24/7 supportive care team is available, with flexible weekend scheduling and immediate openings.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Drive clients to appointments or errands.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and assist with cooking.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and hygiene.

What You’ll Do

Caregivers assist with a variety of daily living activities, such as:

• Driving clients to appointments or errands
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with cooking
• Performing light housekeeping tasks

Caregivers with appropriate certifications (CNA, PCA, HHA) may also provide hands‑on personal care, including:

• Assistance with dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with feeding
• Mobility and ambulation support
• Bathing assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care

What We’re Looking For

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
