Job summary

Trove Home Care is building a Weekend Care Team in Charlottesville, VA, offering flexible weekend hours with a competitive pay range of $18–$25 per hour and a special $100 weekend bonus after completing 50 weekend hours. A 24/7 supportive care team is available to assist caregivers and ensure quality client care.

Caregivers with CNA, PCA, or HHA certifications and at least 6 months of caregiving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required.
• Background check and MVR screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as driving clients to appointments or errands.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and assist with cooking and cleaning.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.

What You’ll Do

Caregivers assist with a variety of daily living activities, such as:

• Driving clients to appointments or errands
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing meals and assisting with cooking
• Performing light housekeeping tasks

Caregivers with appropriate certifications (CNA, PCA, HHA) may also provide hands‑on personal care, including:

• Assistance with dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Help with feeding
• Mobility and ambulation support
• Bathing assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care

What We’re Looking For

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal) preferred
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
